Business QRC

Venmo users can enjoy fast and safe social payments for individuals and companies. This project aimed to simplify the payment flow and tried to encourage users to leave a note of the transaction to support small businesses in the app.

Currently, the P2P transactions are the most common in Venmo. You went out and ate pizza with your friends, one of them paid the bill and the others will pay them their part. When you are paying your part to your friend, you must add a note and, depending on your privacy settings, it'll get shared in your feed.

We wanted to mimic this but thought that if we don't make notes mandatory, the transaction will be faster because there won't be any friction to think of a note to enter and users will be more encouraged to share this payment in their feed.

I was responsible for the user flow and interface design of this feature.
